Minton and Co sandwich plastic clay encaustic tile with a design of the initials, A, R, B, K, within a quatrefoil within a circle, with foliate filling design, blue, brown and white inlaid in buff, 6" square, 1861. This tile would have been made for a specific commission and may have been a one-off. The back of the tile has an impressed year mark for 1861.
