Maw and Co pressed plastic clay sandwich encaustic tile, repeating pattern of four-fold foliate designs within and without circles. Three colour, 6" square, c1875. This popular design was also made by Minton and Co, The Architectural Pottery Co and the Ambergate Brick and Tile Co among others.
