John Burgess, Jackfield, Shropshire

John Burgess was one of the first craftsmen to take space in the newly refurbished Maws Craft Centre created at Jackfield in the early 1980s from the original Victorian Maws factory. He made dust-pressed tiles in Art Nouveau style and a few encaustic tiles. He ceased production in 1995.
