Crystal Porcelain Co., Cobridge, Staffordshire

Little is known about the Crystal Porcelain Co but surviving tiles indicate that they had developed a technique for dust-pressing a porcelain clay which they then decorated with transfer prints. The company was in existence from about 1880-1890 and their works subsequently became part of H & R Johnson Ltd who used the 'Cristal' name as a trademark.
